FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you accept insurance?
-
Bloom Therapy Services is not in-network with any insurance companies at this time. However, we are in the process of becoming credentialed with several insurance providers. We can provide a superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if applicable. You are responsible for verifying if a suberbill is accepted within your individual insurance plan. Superbills will be provided only after payment is remitted to Bloom Therapy Services. Please contact us by phone or e-mail for our evaluation and therapy rates.
When are payments for therapy services due?
-
Payment for our therapy services is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, and all major credit/debit cards for your convenience.
What is your attendance and cancellation policy?
-
If you have 3 no-shows or cancellations in a row without rescheduling, we reserve the right to remove you from our schedule.
Is an evaluation required prior to starting therapy?
-
Yes. An evaluation allows us to determine your child's individual strengths and areas of need. In addition, the evaluation process helps us tailor your child's therapy goals in a way that will help them receive the maximum benefit from our sessions.
How long will therapy services last for my child?
-
Therapy timelines will vary because each child will have different needs. Our pediatric specialists perform an initial evaluation where they will create a personalized treatment plan for your child.
How long is each speech therapy session?
-
Speech therapy sessions are typically scheduled in 30 or 45 minute increments. The frequency and duration of the session will vary based on each child and their specific needs.
Can I be present in my child's session?
-
Of course! Parent involvement will help your child make faster progress because you will be able to transfer the cues and strategies that we use during therapy into your child's daily life. However, we do always hope for your child to participate independently as this will help them transition into daycares or preschools as they get older.
